Please reserve a space for me in the Nightwriters in Italy trip on Sunday, October 20, 2013 - Saturday, October 26, 2013 with Phyllis Theroux
Cost includes room and board except for one meal in Florence, most ground transportation (including pick up from the Florence airport on October 20th and delivery from Villa Spannocchia to our hotel in Florence on October 25th). Incidental expenses,including alcoholic everages with meals, the final meal in Florence and transportation from Florence to the airport the next morning is not included.

Please note, Villa Spannocchia has ample room for 18 people but not for 18 singles. If not enough people plan to share a room, certain participantgs may be asked to double-up. Single rooms in both the main villa and the fattoria wing will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. All of the rooms are comfortable and accessible to one another.
In Florence, we will make every effort to secure rooms at the Kursaal & Ausonia or a hotel of similar quality, but we cannot guarantee single occupancy.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS Price: .This price is based on a minimum of 15 and a maximum of 18 participants. INCLUDED IN LAND ARRANGEMENTS:room and board and ground transportation (except where otherwise indicatged) seminar instruction and materials. NOT INCLUDED: Airfare, airport taxes, alcoholic beverages, mineral waters, laundry or other items of a personal nature; non-included meals, excess baggage charges; life, health and accident insurance, luggage and cancellation insurance. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT:$750 of total fee is required at the time of registration. The balance is due 60 days prior to the start of the seminar. No exceptions will be made. REFUND POLICY: Deposits may be refunded in the following manner: Notification received 90 or more days prior to seminar start date: Full refund less $l00 service charge. Notification received 60 to 89 days or more prior to seminar start date. 50% refund less $100 service charge. Notification received less than 60 days before trip start date. No refund. INSURANCE: Trip accident, health and baggage insurance is recommended. For your additional comfort and protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation insurance at the time of booking. ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE DATES: It is your responsibility to make sure you arrive in Florence on the specified trip start date and time of departure or make arrangements for your own transportation to Villa Spannocchia from whatever place you are. If registration proves insufficient 45 days prior to departure, Politics & Prose and Phyllis Theroux (individually or jointly referred to hereafter as "Trip Planners") have the right to cancel the trip or increase the price of the trip if necessary. If a component of the trip should not be available, Nightwriters, Inc. has the right to substitute a component of equal or greater value. Trip Planners reserve the right in its discretion to change the sequence, alter or omit any part of the itinerary or change any space, reservation, feature and/or means of conveyance without prior notice for any reason whatsoever; but in the event of substantial reduction in the services rendered, a proportionate refund will be made to trip participants upon written request. If there is a major change in the itinerary, participants will be notified before departure and offered the opportunity to cancel with full refund. Trip Planners reserve the right to decline or accept or retain any person as a member of the tour at any time before departure or during the tour. If any trip member is removed from the trip for reasons beyond the control of the trip member , a proportionate refund for unused services will be made. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED A passport valid for at leas six months after the completion of your trip. Passengers who are denied entry for improper documentation will receive no refund. MANAGEMENT AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Neither Politics & Prose nor Phyllis Theroux is not a travel agency and in all matters relating to the making of arrangements for accommodations, sightseeing tours and services provided incident thereto, entertainment, and transportation by air, railroad or motor bus, can assume no responsibility for and cannot be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of (l) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any of the suppliers, (2) any wrongful, negligent or unauthorized acts or omissions on the part of any employee of any of these suppliers, (3) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, equipment or instrumentality owned, operated or otherwise used by any of these suppliers or (4) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions of any other party not under the control, direct or otherwise, of Trip Planners. In the absence of negligence,the Trip Planners accepts no responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delays or changes in air or other services, medical issues of any kind, weather, strikes, or other causes or circumstances beyond its control. Airlines concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyance. Passengers shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the passage contract entered into between the carriers and each passenger.
